Review:
I finally finished this book! I’ve been so busy lately, that it took me forever to read, but that is in no way an indication of how this book is. Because it’s amazing and if I had more time to read then I would have finished it right away!
Kaz and his gang are back for an action packed book! They have a number of things they need to do, and I couldn’t help but think how they were going to accomplish so many things in a 500 page book!
The characters were back in full force. You learn a bit more about their backstories, and how they came to be in the barrel. The reader also gets to meet Jesper’s dad, and it was cool to see their relationship and how much they care for each other. We also see a few characters that we know from another Bardugo series 😉
This book is tough to review because I don’t want to spoil any of the crazy things that happen in this book, but the writing is amazing in this book. The symbolism that is used made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and we get to hear Kaz explain why he identifies with the crow! If you love fantasy, then this is definitely the series for you!
Happy reading!
