Hello everyone and happy month of October! This past month was so crazy and stressful. As a teacher, it was back to school and I have been teaching in a classroom, which I typically love. However, teaching during a pandemic has brought on a whole new meaning to ‘teacher tired.’ Books have been getting me through, though, and I am so appreciative to all the great stories that have transported me to different worlds. Here are the books I have acquired and read during the month of September.
Book Haul:

Not only did I receive some great books from publishers (thank you to Harper Collins Canada, Penguin Random House Canada, and Simon and Schuster Canada for some of the books in this pile), but I also bought some great books. I am sure every book lover says this, but I am honestly so excited to read these books! Some that stand out to me are:
The Evening and the Morning, the prequel to Pillars of The Earth, The Sea Gate, The Hearts Invisible Furies, and Dominicana.
