October 2019 Book Haul and Wrap Up

Hello fellow book lovers,

October was a long month for me. Between Parent Teacher Interviews, Report Card Comments, and the overall stress of teaching, October was a rough month in regards to reading. I did not read as many books as I would have wanted to, and I was feeling pretty down about that, but I had to keep telling myself that reading is supposed to be enjoyable, and not a stresser, so if I did not want to read, that is ok. I also did not buy a ton of books either, which is good. So the wrap up and book haul this month is short!

Thank you to Fair Light Books for A Matter of Interpretation and Simon and Schuster Canada for Marley. I bought White Teeth to buddy read with my friend, and I am really excited to read it. This will be my first Zadie Smith novel, and I have heard so many good things about it!
