Hello Everyone,
August was a fantastic month for me. It was my second month off for summer break as a teacher, so I spent my time relaxing and reading, but I also spent time traveling with family. I went to Seattle with my side of the family, where we went to many sporting events (which for me is comical, as I do not watch sports). I also went to Fairmont with my Fiance’s side of the family for his family reunion. So I would say that because of all this traveling, I did not read as many books as I would have liked, but it was a fun filled summer!
I also received some great books from Simon and Schuster Canada, as well as I bought some new books that I am really excited about. August is my birthday month, so I also got some great books for my birthday that definitely had be feeling spoiled. Here is my Book Haul for August:

I also read some amazing books this month. Some favourites include Tidelands, the new book by Philippa Gregory, as well as Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. Check out their individual blog posts for my thoughts on each!
