Hello everyone,
I didn’t listen to as many as I usually do, and that is because I no longer have an hour and a half commute to work everyday because summer ☀️ but I did manage to listen to three audiobooks, and here they are:
Dreams from My Father by Barrack Obama: it was great to listen to Obama talk about his upbringing, his education, and his trip to Kenya to visit his fathers family. I enjoyed listening to his commentary on race in the United States, and it was great to get his perspective on how he grew up! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
–
Two Can Keep a Secret: this was a fast paced thriller about twins who come to a small town where their aunt and another woman have disappeared. After they arrive, another girl disappears and they are dragged into this mystery to figure out what happened to her! This book kept me wanting to keep listening! I really liked the characters and I thought the writing was great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
–
Unqualified by Anna Farris: this is her memoir in which she talks about her childhood, her college days, how she got into acting, and her relationships. I find it interesting that a lot of celeb memoirs are about giving advice, but at the same time this one is based off her podcast, where people write in and she gives them advice! Overall an enjoyable book! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Happy Reading
