Review:

This book is the second in a series, so I feel like it’s hard to review a book in the middle of a series without spoiling a ton, but I shall try!

Juliette and Adam are joined in their fight against the Reestablishment, when they have a found a group to join forces with! Juliette learns a lot about her ability and her lethal touch, and learns that others have ways to use Energy as well!

I think I liked this book a bit more than the first book, which is surprising because I always feel like the second book is the weakest book in a series! But I felt like it kept the pace of the first book, but there was a lot more character development in this book and I feel like I actually understand Juliette a lot more from this book than the last! Warner and Adam also developed as characters in fun and interesting ways, so I would say that the character development is really what made this book strong for me! The story itself is interesting and engaging, but the characters were great! –

Looking forward to reviewing the third book!

Happy reading!
