Hello Everyone!
I wanted to write a blog post about my favourite reads of 2017. I read a total of 102 books this year, which is 20 more books than last year. Which is crazy because life has been really busy this year. I put a lot of my time into teaching, which is what I want to do, as I love my job, but I am glad that I was able to take time out of my busy schedule to do what I love: read.
Without further ado, here are my favourites of 2017. I decided to organize my favourites by genre.

Here are my favourite classics. I think if I had to pick one favourite out of this pile, it would be The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte. I definitely want to read more books from the Bronte sisters, as I love Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights.

I do not think I can pick one of these as my favourites. My goal for next year is to read more Philippa Gregory, as I love her writing.

I did not read a lot of Romance/Contemporary reads this year. I focused more on Historical Fiction and Young Adult. But these two reads were amazing!

As you can see, Young Adult/Fantasy was the top genre that I read this year. These books were amazing! I definitely recommend all these books, and I am looking forward to reading more good series in 2018!
Happy reading bookworms!
