Review:
I’m so glad I finally read this book. Magnus is such an underrated character in both the Mortal Instruments and the Infernal Devices that it was great to get a glimpse into what happened before those events, but also get his perspective during the events of the two series!
The book is divided into different stories that span a few decades! While the main focus of these stories are Magnus, a lot of different back stories get told in this book that I feel like I know a lot more about different secondary characters in the series. We also get visits from some of our fave characters as well (ahem…Tessa). If you’ve been thinking about picking this one up, I definitely recommend it! Make sure you read the Mortal Instruments and the Infernal Devices first, so that certain stories make sense!
Happy reading!
