Hello fellow readers!
August was a busy month for me (even though, yes, I was still on summer holidays from work). But I did find some time to buy books and read some too!
Here is my August haul. Some of the books were gifted to me for my birthday, others I bought on my birthday when I went to a local used bookstore in the city. I love that place and it is a good thing it is a hassle to get to the store, or else I would spend all my money there!

I am really excited about the book pictured at the top. It is an old Edition of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I want to try and start collecting old editions of my favourite classics, even though I probably will only be able to get the cheap ones.
Finally, here is my wrap up for August. I read 7 books this month, and considering two of them were gigantic Game of Thrones books, I am pretty proud of that number!

A Feast of Crows by George R. R. Martin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A Dance with Dragons by George R. R. Martin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Help by Kathryn Stockett ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Truth about Stories by Thomas King ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
If you would like to read my full reviews on these books, check out their individual posts. I won’t be making a TBR post for the month of September, as I have a few books leftover from my summer TBR pile.
Happy reading!
