Hello all!
Welcome to another month of reading. June is a big month for me as a teacher. It marks the end of the school year, which means that it is wrap up time. We have to wrap up our classes, make sure all work is handed in and marked, write report card comments, and supervise final exams! While all that is really stressful, it is an exciting time of year and everyone is excited for summer!
So since I will be busy this month, I am not sure how many books I will be able read. I still have some books leftover from last month that I still have to read, and I really want to finish reading some of the series I have started lately. That being said, I still wanted to have a small TBR pile, but I really struggled to pick the books. So boyfriend came to the rescue and picked for me! And boy, did he pick some good ones. He knows which books I would love, and knew exactly which books I would enjoy while busy.

So as pictured, I am hoping to read the following books:
Fathers and Sons by Ivan Turgenev- I bought this book because 1) I am still trying to read some classics and 2) it was such a cute little pocketbook!
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini- I still cannot believe I have not read this one. My bf looked at it on my TBR shelf and said “really Alexis?? You really have not read this one yet?” So naturally, it found it’s way onto my TBR pile for the month.
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo- I have been wanting to read a book by Bardugo ever since I got Bookstagram back in January of 2016. So I was so happy that he picked this one!
And finally, Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert- because I still refuse to watch the movie before I read the book. And I really want to watch the movie because I love Julia Roberts!
So there it is folks! Stay tuned for these book reviews.
Happy reading!
