Review:

This book was adorable, but I also found it difficult to connect to it! Don’t get me wrong, I love the characters, but the premise of it kinda bothered me. Yet I still really enjoyed it! So I guess you could say I have mixed feelings about it!

The two main characters are great! Sydney is going to school to become a music teacher, and Ridge is a dreamy musician! Yet they both are in relationship! Things change when Sydney finds out her bf was cheating on her, so she moves in with Ridge, a guy she barely knows. That was weird thing number one for me. Then what happens is they develop feelings for each other, even though Ridge is still in a relationships! I know the main message was you can’t control your emotions and feelings, but you can control whether you act on them or not! I understand that the characters were confused about their feelings, and didn’t know what the right thing to do was, but I don’t really like reading stories about someone who’s in love with their partner, but develops feelings for someone else. I would never choose to read a book about cheating, so I was a little disappointed that there were some mixed messages about cheating in the book.

Still, it was a cute read and if you’re a fan of CoHo, you’ll definitely enjoy this one! I will just never read it again (but really, who has time nowadays to read a book twice).

Happy reading bookworms!
