Tessa Gray should be happy – aren’t all brides happy?
Yet as she prepares for her wedding, a net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute.
A new demon appears, one linked by blood and secrecy to Mortmain, the man who plans to use his army of pitiless automatons, the Infernal Devices, to destroy the Shadowhunters. Mortmain needs only one last item to complete his plan. He needs Tessa. And Jem and Will, the boys who lay equal claim to Tessa’s heart, will do anything to save her.
Book Review:
Ugh, this book broke my heart into a million pieces!!! I couldn’t help but fall in love for all the characters involved! Everyone is working towards trying to defeat Mortmain, but they have not heard from him in months, which quite unsettles the institute. Another interesting aspect to the story is Will’s sister, Cecily, shows up at the institute. Will does not know how to handle having his sister around all the time. He feels protective over her, like a good brother would, but he also wants to push her away as he reminds her of the family he left behind.
Tessa is still struggling with her love triangle issue, which I must admit is a tough one as I cannot choose between Will and Jem! I’m rooting for Jem the whole time, and then Bam! Will does something to make you love him!!! There was a lot of sadness in this book, but a lot of joy as well! This one is hard to review without spoiling things! There is so much to talk about, yet I don’t want to ruin anything for people who have not read it! All I can say is everyone must read this series!!!!!!!
Let me know if you have any comments or questions. If you would like to discuss the book in more detail, send me an email! I would love to talk more in depth about the book.
Happy reading bookworms.
