After her first marriage fails because she cannot conceive naturally, Ava fears she may never have another chance.
Until she meets James Parsons, a new work colleague. He is handsome, strong and irresistible. Ava soon believes James is her soul mate and together they will defy all odds to conceive her much wanted child naturally.
After months of trying to no avail, their only option is to enter the world of assisted fertility. Ava’s desire to become a mother means she is prepared to do whatever and however many IVF cycles it takes.
But will there be a cost for her dream to become her reality?
Review:
Here is the last book I read in 2016! Thank you very much to the author for sending this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was a roller coaster of emotions! It centers on a woman, Ava, who wants to become a mother so badly, but she is unable to conceive. She goes through so much pain and loss trying to conceive a baby, and she struggles with coming to terms with her infertility. This is an issue that many women struggle with! We think that as women, we have the instinct to want to bring life into this world. But what happens when that is not a reality, and we cannot follow that instinct? Along with her inability to conceive, Ava also struggles with a death in the family, as well as learning how to be a loving with to her amazing husband, even when she wants to shut the world out.
I really enjoyed this book! I would definitely recommend it! It does go into a lot of detail on the process the character goes through to conceive, as well as other pregnancy related details that you may not want to read about! If that doesn’t bother you, then you should definitely read this book!
