Book Review:

This book was adorable. The characters grew so much, and the story developed in such an interesting way. I was unsure how the story was going to go, as it seemed at the end of the first book that the only thing that could happen is either Lara Jean and Peter start dating, or they don’t. But then John Ambrose McClaren comes to town, and he puts a whole new twist to the story! He was the one letter that we never knew what happened to! Lara Jean learns a lot about what she wants in a relationship. I thought the book discussed teenage love in a fantastic way. Your first love can be something strange, and can be very powerful. A lot of teenagers do not know how to respond properly. Lara Jean does not want to become the girl crying over a boy. She wants to have fun, which is a great mindset-until you actually fall in love with the guy you were supposed to just have fun with. She also learns how to deal with jealousy; something everyone could learn a lesson on. Every person can feel jealousy, it is just how you deal with that jealousy that is important. The book also taught us the importance of trust in a relationship. There are so many great aspects to this book, and I was hooked through the whole thing. I would definitely recommend this book if you loved the first one. You should read the first book though before the second, as it plays off the plot of the first book.

Happy reading bookworms.
