Finally getting around to posting about the books that I am hoping to read this month. As September can be busy as a teacher, I never know just how many books I will be able to get through. I have also had to carry two books over from last month, but alas, I always overreach the number of books I think I can read during the summer.

I chose 6 books to be on my TBR pile this month. I must say, I am excited for all 6 of them as I have heard great things about all.

1. City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare: I cannot wait to finish The Mortal Instruments Series. I fell in love with the Shadowhunter world this August, and I am excited to continue on with the Infernal Devices in the future.
2. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas: again, I have heard so many great things about this series. Excited to jump in.
3. Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen: carried over from last month, I am hoping this will be another interesting read.
4. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: because Harry Potter. That is all.
5. Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet: because a) history; b) a friend of mine told me to read it because it is AMAZING and c) I watched the tv show and it was fantastic.
6. Finally, The One that Got Away by Leigh Himes: I won this book through a giveaway and it sound cute!
