Hello lovelies.
Here is my July wrap up. I did not get to read as many books as I hoped to this month. I thought that since I am a teacher on summer holidays, I would have prime reading time. However, life still can be busy. I went on a road trip to Victoria and Seattle, which was a ton of fun, but no reading was done on the trip. I also moved into a new house, and if you have moved, you will understand how stressful it can be. Oh well, I still have August to make up for my low July reads.
Here are the books I read for July:
The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame 3.5/5 stars.
Catch-22 by Joseph Heller 3/5 stars. If you follow my Instagram page, you will know that I had a tough time finishing this book. Maybe because I was still in book hangover mode from the Anna and the French Kiss series. I don’t know. I was in a slump.
The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner 4/5 stars
Cinder by Marissa Meyer 4.5/5. I gave it 5 stars on Goodreads, but it is closer to 4.5.
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer 5/5 stars
Finally, Cress by Marissa Meyer 5/5.
I cannot wait to finish the rest of the Lunar Chronicles and now I have to make a special chapters trip to get Winter!!
If you would like to see my full reviews on these books, head to my Instagram page, hooked_to_books. This is my first blog post, but I promise to post more in depth reviews here!
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave a reply or send an email! Happy Reading!
